I'll have a look round and a think Fishy, I don't have a bog garden, my water is just ground water and leaves plants high and dry from June to September most years.

Its ok nut bless you. I've got the ragged robin and the water avens already that Lyn's been helping me with. I'm just being greedy image

Its strange to think the whole of the Fens was once a massive bog garden before it was drained for agriculture, well some of it still is and a vital habitat for wildlife. I feel quite high up here in 'mountainous' Northamptonshire image

  • I have typha minima if that fits into your planting scheme Fishy and I'm bringing on some supermini marsh marigold seedlings. I think that is what they are...

I'm not sure what I want / if I want anything Bekkie - thank you though and I'll have a scroll back through the list.image I've just put myself down for an allotment though which opens up a whole new planting ground of opportunityimageimageimageimageimage

Fishy, i have some beautiful fluffy grass seeds that go in in the spring, just right for emerging dragonflys and others.

Nut my pond is 4 x 2.5mtrs. Approx.

Yellow flag bekkie? I'll take some off your hands if you're serious image That other Iris is purple isn't it? Looking for something the dragonflies can climb up.

Victoria - I have one young marsh marigold and wouldn't turn down just one or two more,or in fact the typha minima (just had to google that). I wish I could offer something in return but I'm such a newbie at gardening in terms of species grown etc.
