Fishy I was going to offer ragged robin. Hollie hock sent me some seed of white ones last year, only one flowered so far but next year I should have seed of white ones. Somewhere in there is brooklime, Veronica beccabunga, I can't find any but come spring I should be able to locate some.

Lyn you're welcome to Carex pendula seeds but the come with a warning.

    Same for you Fishy

  • I'll send you the typha minima chunk Fishy, if I have your address, can't remember, I'll look in my messages in a mo.

I keep a MM with your name on as they really are tiddlers and I don't think they'd handle the post right now.

Oh, I've also got a decent sized soft rush I could probably take a piece off, forgot about that.

If anyone would like a piece of those you're more than welcome.image

Vic, I wouldnt mind a bit of anything to go in the pond, if you have any left please.

I was advised to keep the yellow iris in a pot and dont let any seeds fall, so dead head regular.

Nut I have just googled that rampant grass, best not, it may take over. Thank you any way.

I don't believe it - just how daft can you be? I've got Carex Pendula in my garden already image I thought it looked familiar when I googled it. I've had it stuck in the border for years, Mrs F's sister gave it to us. I had a tray of aquilegia seeds down there about six weeks ago and some seeds fell of this 'grass' and germinated in the same tray so I had to start pulling them out. Maybe because its in a well drained area (beneath a young Ash) that it hasn't spread? The leaves are quite sharp,as though you could cut yourself?

  • No probs Lynimage

I'll have a squelch about over the weekend and post on Mon.

Bekkie - please could I have some of your iris Flag and Siberica.  We have a bit at the bottom of the garden that gets pretty wet at times and I'd love to try Siberica further up.

I have Snakes head fritillary seeds and Astrantia Star of Beauty seeds so far.
