you see where the bindweed similarities come from... this is as high as it grows (about 1ft) tho it just bushes it doesnt entwine itself around other plants so doesnt behave like typical bindweed
the flowers are daisy like not tubular and it doesnt climb or strangle other plants just takes over the flowerbed in hedgerow style,,,the clump in the pic if i left it wud spread across the bed not upwards..this particular clump ive ripped out by the roots twice in last 2 months its extremely vigarous and hard

if i google that nutcutlet it shows me images of purple flowers and talks about the fruit ....this of mine has white flowers and no fruit....

But re-reading your original post I'm thinking this isn't like bindweed in that it climbs, just in the roots. Is that right?
Are they open flowers like a daisy, or tubular flowers or bell like?
