    Foxgloves all odd this year

    Zenjeff, I've had more odd Foxgloves than anything else over the years. They must be very susceptible

    Sorry, no pic! but my Gertrude Jekyll rose is sprouting a few petals directly from the leaf nodes. Normal buds above. Is that a form of fasciation?

     That is a seriously weird eryngium, Nutcutlet.

    Sorry fidgetbones, I saw it, thought, that’s really weird, so cut off the affected bits and binned them. If it happens again I will post a pic. It was pretty odd seeing petals growing directly from the canes.

    Fidgetbones here are some pics of more petals growing out of the canes of my Gertrude Jekyll rose - sort of half leaf half petal, very odd but don’t know whether this is fasciation or something else.. doesn’t seem to be bothering GJ in the least. @Marlorena have you see this before?

    Certainly that is unusual. I don't think it is fasciation. It seems to be a leaf modified to a petal.  Maybe the heat is getting to it.
