  • This is my wisteria. Will I get cool flowers or would it be best to remove the stem?

General thought is it will need to be pruned back to get flowers. That said , the bit of my wisteria that flowered best this year was a bit I had totally missed pruning last year.   I think I would five it a chance and see what you get. Prune to seven buds (or a couple of feet) now, and then two buds in February.

  • I posted a query re 'a new plant from a flower spike' on one of my potted lupins and was informed that it was indeed a form of fasciation which I had never heard of! Bamboogie said I should repost the photo onto this thread which I have now done...have not seen any mention of this occurrence on lupins anywhere on the internet.

It was suggested by Alan2 in Liverpool, that I did a repost of my "confused Lupin". It seems it is not alone !

Are they all like that or just one stem?

    Just one flower/stem.
