I have an allotment, but there's only two of us to feed, so even if it's only enough for some mash once or twice it's not really cost us anything. Plus I hear potatoes are good as a starter crop to break up ground that's not been used to grow on for quite a while. What will the supermarket potatoes do once planted in the ground?

Forgive me, but what does that mean?

I think it means No expert only has 20 plants so he must be sparing with them.  Quite right too; new potatoes are such a treat; every one of them to be savoured!

I had no idea that you had misunderstood me, you should've said.

There are loads of posts on the forum referring to Nutcutlet as Nut and it's absolutely not in my nature to make personal attacks.

Hope we can all be friends. image
