I have only just recovered from last weekend (Sprained my foot) and now preping to cut the grass, weed the borders and designing for my coldframe construction.
Hope you had a nice holiday Geoff, it's been quiet without you
I've just come in for a coffee and could do with one one those, Kate.
I've been planting daffodils along the lane that leads to our cottages. My grandaughter helped me. I told her when she went to school next year along the lane she'll remember that she planted them.
Your chickens are amazing, Geoff. how did you train them to play football? Are the newcomers laying yet?
Geoff some useful phrases for you. "I normally like this ref but today he had a nightmare", "I think that if we could play more consistently we could turn this season around", "Sometimes you do not get the lucky break but we played well and they got the lucky break", "The board have given me their full support". I think your local boys have an impatient board and the Liverpool job looks open.
Dan are you still aching after chucking yourself off a cliff??
I have had a look around the garden and I appear to have one bud on my Acidanthera
pottiepam I may go into business with them, I shall apply to the Dragons later.
Thank you for that advice-Nigel A will be ok for a while but if it comes up I can catch the bus in providing I can start after 9 in the morning and be back home in time for Corrie
I have cut back stuff and done a pre-autumn tidy up-removed the tomato blight ridden plants from the greenhouse-spied some red ants and discovered that the sun still has some some warmth in it-also had a packet of crisps
Kate is that good or bad-what happened to the castor-oil plants?
Pam- the newcomers have had their first sleepover and survived the night -getting them to go into the coop was 30 minutes of fun-hopefully tonight they will not need a push- have prepared welcome packs just in case
Hello, Open Day tailing off now, but need to be here till 3.30, so thought I'd get a bit of networking in.
Yes, Kate, it is an excellent idea and he has now managed to get his product into Asda, which would have got him the additional fundingfromRichard Read. The student involved has actually been on the stand with us today.
Geoff, make sure that everyone can see that chewing gum turning around in your mouth!

Was it a gardening accident, Dan?

Do you have a photo to share?-or have I missed that?

Kate, you're welcome - though I just pinched an idea, I can take no credit.
Pam, a lovely idea to involve your grand-daughter, as you say she will remember that they are 'hers'.
Blimey, Dan, I feel shattered just reading about your plans!! Obviously they are all things you can do hopping ;- )
Lumberjacks. Don't they put on women's clothing and hang around in bars?
My avatar looks fine from here, Geoff. Though the chicken in the pic. died a little while ago so perhaps she has flown off and taken me with her.
Hello everyone - we are back from our hols
I hope you had a good time Geoff
When is Becks due back ?
Will try and catch up with all the messages now
Pam LL x
Flo-you are invisible to me at the bottom of the previous page-perhaps you had a cloaking device on??
-these lumberjacks are pining for the fjords
Welcome back Pam-is the garden still all there?
It feels warmer outside than inside-why is that?
I am practising chewing and tapping the watch
