Yes, I want to start cooking from scratch more to be honest. Need to get myself a good, BASIC, cook book. That's what puts me off some recipies. Long list of extra ingredients that I don't have/want. image

Went to watch the GC makeover programme. Thought it was on ITV so I could watch the beginning that I missed on +1, but, bother, it was on BBC 2 so now I've missed the beginning. The BBC ads for I player really bug me. Can't get it abroad. Someone told me about  installing a computer thingy which lets you get it, but my anti-virus wouldn't let me. In fact watching English TV abroad is illegal. Wish they'd sort something out.

Becks - when my son first started teaching I bought him a Kids Cookery Book as he needed to do some cooking with the Year 2 class.  My "job" was to test out all the recipes to see if they were OK.  They were all so good that I just photocopied the pages he wanted and kept the book myself image.  Still use it now for scones and pizza!

I put it in the mic for 30 seconds, so just took the chill off. It was actually a reduced one from Co-Op. image
