bloody gas fella came and found he needed another part, no heating tonight either! Had a clear up of my greenhouse, washed out all my propagator stuff, located the seed compost, sorted my seeds. I plan to sow this weekend, whether it happens or not is anyone's guess. Started cutting my scaffold boards, got a fair bit done today, just wish the heating was working
Injuries from milking aren't something I 've ever come across, been a nurse for nearly 14 years.
I never soak morning glory and they germinate well, but not growing them this year, first time for ages. Going to try black-eyed Susan from plug plants.
Loropetalum, but needs winter protection. Photinia, but may grow too big. Nandina domestica. Berberis atropurpurea nana.
Don't think people milk by hand anymore! We had a house cow, Jersey. When we came to France no where sold Fresh milk or cream. It was all sterilised so we grew our own! I had kept Jerseys before, though, in England.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I soaked my Morning Gloey seeds and they have now germinated Bunny, then was told off by Jo in no uncertain terms as it ismuch too early she said. I have more if these go funny
Fininshed digging and wrestling with couch grass on that half of front. Planted hydrangea thing,
Been next door for a chat
That's the berberis I have already booked a space for, couldn't remember its full name though - thanks Liz
No more gardening today - shoulders aching - really playing up just lately
Here is a picture of an I,C,R 22000class rail-car taken from the Internet . I am retired from Irish rail where I was employed as a maintenance fitter for 39.5 years don't miss it. just back from Dublin where I go once a month to get my prescription filled .Did I miss anything interesting ,.
My post just gone into the ether coz I hit the ctrl button instead of shift. My fingers not behaving very well today, I couldnt get the token back out of the trolly at Aldi this morning.
Have just phoned the hospital as have received a different appointment date to that which I had previously been given over the phone. Secretary confused too......
Wont be eating much for tea, as have had another pub lunch with 'the girls'. Does us all good to get together & it was someone's birthday so a good idea today. It was snowing a bit outside the pub but brilliant sunshine t'other side of carpark- weird.
All being well shall start off more seeds tomorrow. Nothing else planned, but that could change- I hope not. J.
