I also have bought a bunch of different seeds from T & M this year and out of seven packets using the same potting soil and in a green house with the same water only 2 packets have come on and they are pretty sparce in seedlings? My sweetpeas only one seedlin g grew out of the whole packet! Now I have to try and get store bought tomatoes and and flowers get them growing so my garden looks good?
Artjak, I must admit that I did wonder that but being fairly new to this didn't feel qualified to comment as such. Someone posted on another thread earlier pots from this time last year and post from this and the difference is unbelievable, surely that is due it the mild weather????
Mark, I hope my Tumbling Toms germinate ok, I won't have time to get any more
My plants have finally arrived - generally in good condition (and all capable of being potted on albeit much later than I had hoped) but very very small plugs.
Hopefully they will go on to flower this year...watch this space!
My seeds arrived finally, not long after I phoned to complain and they couldn't explain why it takes a week to pack 2 packets of seeds and charge £1.95 postage for what obviously isn't first class service or postage.....will definitely think twice in future
I am very interested in this conversation. I have sown seeds in my greenhouse over the last few weeks and have used seeds from Suttons and Thompson and Morgan; the seeds are all treated the same - temperature, cover and watering but the Suttons seeds have all sprouted but the Thompson and Morgan seeds are doing nothing. Is this a problem with their seeds that anyone else has noticed? and perhaps this is why their plugs are not good quality either?
Most of my seeds sown were T&M seeds, free from another gardening publication. Some have not germinated that should have done by now and they are inside so it's not because it's too cold. All my Wilkos cheap seeds have germinated. I have some that I have sown that I received on Monday from a supplier I haven't used before but heard good reviews, so I will wait and see what they do.
I may not have as many flowers and as much veg as I thought I would
We're having 2 conversations! There's still plenty of time to plant seeds and for them to grow for the summer all plants catch up; or cheat and buy pre-grown there were plenty in our local market yesterday. not so much fun but some else has had the hassle of what hasn't come up

Still no Tumbling Toms seeds from T&M!!! Almost a week now and post has been today and they haven't come!! Not impressed at all.
4 orders for plants/seeds placed in the last week -
Crocus - ordered Thursday evening arrived Monday
Premier Seeds - ordered Thursday evening arrived Monday (with free P&P so I was expecting them to take longer!)
Private purchase - ordered/sent from Scotland on Monday arrived today
T&M - ordered Thursday evening and I'm still waiting and I paid for postage!!!
Not a great advert really is it??? 2 packets of seed, that's all. Put in an envelope, address label, frank it or stamps and post.....simples!!!
We welcome all feedback, and if we can help with any queries please do not hesitate to get in touch at [email protected].
I did and had an email back saying someone would be in touch, just waiting for the post and then i am going to phone if they don't arrive
