Oh Rosemummy, I LOVE The Wombles, I have Wombling Merry Christmas on my Christmas playlist, unfortunately I don't get away with it at any other time of the year now
Hmmm......not sure I agree with that number one Punk, good song though but not my fave Brit Pop, it would need to be Oasis for me.
i know i enjoy the wombles, getting away with while i can though still ensuring i indoctrinate children with tom petty whitesnake acdc etc!! can't comment on britpop, i'm afreaid i'd turn any of it off! though i only listen to planet rock and as you may guess there's not much britpop-or wombles-!! on there!
I enjoyed Neil Young's 'After the Goldrush' and S&G's 'Only Living Boy in New York' yesterday afternoon while assembling and painting bits of wood - courtesy of Radio 2. Thank you Steve Wright

Yes music in the garden is nice but I like to listen to the Birds
also can't beat the sound of lawn mowers which have now started in earnest
the wombles in the kitchen at 6am!
Just been watching the BBCs Brit. Pop programme. Blur, Oasis and Pulp, some good tunes. Common People - Pulp was voted the best Brit Pop song.
