I love that song David, but prefer the Alison krauss version, she has a beautiful voice
Hello Tootles Sally cinnamon is my favourite SR song, love them and my eldest son does too, we call that our song as we play it very loud in the car!!!
Just played it on YouTube, Tracy.....tingles down the spine!
Played Wet Wet Wet - 'love is all around' & Brian Adams - 'everything I do', while I was there.....quality!
Tracey, I love that one, I walked down the aisle to that. We managed somehow to get the church organist to play it for us. (Just played it, no singing lol) We were very lucky with the vicar! ( ages after it came out tho lol)
Having spent 12 hours driving over the weekend have had the chance to listen to a lot of music. Stand outs include: London Calling, The Clash; surely the best album ever made, Ignore the Ignorant, The Cribs and Squeezing Out Sparks, Ghraham Parker and the Rumour.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I meant to tell you last week doc - the Pixies were on one of the Sky Arts channels in concert. If you've got cable tv it's bound to be on again at some point
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Blackbirds, when available at one of the places I garden. Traffic in another one. Great tits in my back yard (no, it doesn't sound like 'teacher'). But mostly I sing. Or talk to myself!
True Blue, Madonna - one of my favourite 80s pop songs and also one of my favourite albums, I was playing it the car yesterday whilst driving in the sunshine and Verdun just reminded me about it on another thread

Can't let this thread not to include 'Easy' (like a Sunday morning) by Lionel Richie.......or Matt Monro's 'Softly as I leave you'.
Oh yes David, I love all of those, classics
I've got absolute 80s on but not impressed with the music so about to change to Abs 60s
I heard Neil Sedaka is in concert later in the year, thinking of taking my mum as her birthday present.
Whiter Shade of Pale, playing now and an absolute classic.....I always get a lump in my throat when I hear it and no idea why
Can't say that I'm normally a Clff fan, but he sings this 'Ocean Deep' and it absolutely blows me away.
