    Thanks for your comment Edd,, was wondering why you don't use stain? I did use stain that is ok for this kind of use, however further protection wouldn't go a miss.

     I use this idea from YouTube for breaking up the pallets, it just uses body weight and no effort at all and very little damage to the wood the fork goes on the skid and under the plank to remove,  then stand on the back and it lifts the plank from both sides of the skid so very little splitting occurs. 10 times faster than hamer and chisel.

    Well at the min a new pallet project is going on there has been sawing, bashing, hammering and now painting.

    This project is one for the train station -  not telling you what it is until it is done

  • Well here is the pallet project we were busy with it was a planter for the station, took quite a long time mainly the painting on it
