  • Do you use clean ones, my ones are pretty dirty, could try to scrub them up, but i really havent a clue, not got a drill, i have a screw driver lol no saw :image(

  • Looking at all the porjects you all make it look soo easy, how do you join bits of wood, nails and do you use glue? What kind of nails, im getting tempted, i would love to make a big planter, but not sure if its been treated, but if i put liner in, would that be ok?

    Am really clueless imageimageimage

  • GG you have some talent there with the pallets, i have a pallet outside, alos have a glass unti cupboard door about 3ft by 3ft, i am going to buy myself a saw and attempt a cold frame, as i would love a cold frame. Any tips would be appreciated, i have a screwdriver, not the electric ones just need a saw, oh and attempt to break down the pallet. imageimageimageimage

Do you have a hammer and crow bar they do well to take pallets apart or if not a large brick stone with the pallet slightly raised on a brick to whack and bounce the wood up

Tips Wear gloves - if you have any ear defenders or cotton wool,  ear plugs to help with noise and goggles for eyes

With the cold frame figure out on a flat surface how much of a slope you would like lean the lid on something and measure height to the flat surface at the highest bit then measure length along front bottom of and width of side

Then add how deep you would like the coldframe box at the bottom

This one explains a bit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7i1uHDLFgY0

    Liner in planter works well

I use nails and hammer on most of the things but screws as well don't bother with glue really

Helps watching lots of youtube videos

Sanjy67 really like your planters and lettuce frame and bird houses so good what can be made out of pallets

Think we all do great recycling

Just need to find some light weight pallets I can make a fence out of for the allotment plot front
