Gardengirl , amazed at the amount of wood you got image

when ever I have taken pallets apart I end up destroying it , DIY , never my thing , can do basics , like making a gate

Steve best of luck with pallet furnishings , have seen some great stuff on Internet , are you going for sponsorship for nails , paint ect image

Steve 309 that sound great - lots of different styles of seats and tables that could be made

Busy pallet times ahead then for all

GWRS that is cause I mainly using my pallet breaker tool to take the pallets apart and it does really well so glad I brought it

If you split the blocks that keep the top and bottom of the pallet apart it is easier to de-nail the rest.

GWRS here is a pic of the tool

From eBay Roughneck Heavy Duty Demolition & Lifting Bar  from a seller called   my-tool-shed   cost just over £20  it is about 94 cms high

Makes things a lot quieter - other than getting out the nails which is the noisiest bit and less bending

Been sorting out my pallet coldframe today in the garden will be a longer one than the first one built as this one will be for the allotment plot

so lots of sawing, bashing and lifting of planks of pallets

GWRS - good q about sponsorship.  I'll mention it to the relevant person (the curate's wife, whose garden is one of those I look after)

Keen to get started now but we don't get into the shop till January.  Still, we can collect pallets and start taking them apart...

Steve , in the past when I have been involved in various charity events , it has been easier to get materials rather than cash , B & Q  have helped in the past

I have also found Lions or similar clubs good for buying small items that you may need

I always say , it doesn't harm to ask , they can say no but unless you ask , you don't known

    best of luck image

Steve 309 good to start thinking of ideas - look on pinterest and Youtube also start collecting pallets, good to try and store them some where dry  I brought a few tarpaulins from B&Q

found this on Youtube may be dog home but most of it the same as building a cold frame
