Edd that looks great like the colour and great for showing off the plants

Did anyone see Love your garden tonight?

Some great pallet ideas on the show - a bench, a wall and pallet shelving with alpines

    brilliant gave me an idea

  • I'm going to give the succulents on the pallets a goimage I didn't like the artificial wall though - it will have faded in a couple of years. I know it's all about instant gardening but Virginia creeper wouldn't have taken too long to cover that wall.

Get those sweet peas in, edd.  Never too late if they are still alive.

I love the colour. I did have five pallets to make a bughotel with.  One is smashed to smithereens, and only suitable for firewood. One may be rescuable.

A certain 10 year old will not be coming to parties at my house again.

    hi everybody!

i absolutely need to say that i stumbled across this thread earlier this morning and have spent the last HOUR avidly reading through posts and photos and loving it.. Wow, i am so impressed (and love the pallet christmas tree!!!!!)....you lot are a very creative bunch!!!

Guess what, i have just rescued 2 pallets that were put out on the pavement last week from folks across the road.. and i recently inherited my dad's tool collection which includes a crowbar and a heavy old claw hammer... i'll keep you posted but i feel a definate pallet project could be in the offing... it's infectious....

FIDGETBONES - now i understand why you were annoyed about your pallets getting broken at your party.. couldn't understand it before reading this thread..

If it's any consolation, I clocked a certain neighbour's boy ( est 7 years old) actually peeing over some of our bluebells the other day in our back green.. and the parent saw him and laughed... unbelievable...

Edd here you go https://www.itv.com/itvplayer/love-your-garden/series-6/episode-1  sweet peas should be ok, pallet trawling or looking at building industrial estates

Gardeninglily1 the pallet did look pretty painted with the succulents in the terracotta pots

Fidgetbones what a cheek - pallet in bits you could try a small pile of the wood for the bugs

Gillygee it is amazing what can be made out of pallets

WillDB like the way the shed bit is may try something like that
