What size Zoomer, little tit/finch size or bigger?

Not sure how big those are nut, I'm not very good with bird id but would say about robin size possibly alittle bigger and slimmer, robins tend to seem more rounded than slim.

Hi Zoomer my first thought was reed bunting but when I looked at the RSPB website the head is black but the collar is white

Worth having a look to see if it's anything like it

Hi, nut, you were nearer the mark first time, I looked through January's GWM and they look like a pr of Coal tit's and are smaller than robins by 2cm although they didn't look it, sorry gave you the wrong info...my eye sight isn't what it wasimage.

We do get Reed buntings though down by the river.

There was a Huge Queen Bumble Bee flying around the Garden Centre at work the other day image

  • We've had the neighbours honey bees over to feed on the mahonia

  • My aunt has 3 rescue hedgehogs that live in her garden... Willow, her oldest, came out of hibernation last night, exactly the same night as last year!

Exciting not because we have crocuses, but because one of our bees is having a ball inside one!
