Thank you all - we had a brilliant time and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had 140 visitors over the two afternoons, did a roaring trade in free iced squash and made £310 for the NGS charities.  But it was soooo hot!  All the roses, delphinimums (?) and sweet peas needed gallons of water so I was out in the dark still watering late on the Friday night and up at 6.30 am Sat morn - I'm shattered, but very pleased. Will post photos when I've recovered tomorrow.

Lizzie - I haven't really looked on this thread much but I'd like to offer my congrats along with everyone else. That's a huge achievement. image

Have a well earned rest now!

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I think I've recovered - haven't done much all day, it hit 30c at 3 pm here! But I think we've just had a shower of rain and we are expecting a thunderstorm tonight.

Photos attached (I hope).  Would welcome some positive feedback if there are any areas you feel could be improved upon

Stunning Lizzie .... Practically perfect in every way (as Mary Poppins would say) .... You must be so pleased with itimage.  And now that you have crammed a months worth of gardening into a couple of days in prep for the opening, you can now sit back and enjoy for the next few weeksimageimageimage

Thanks Chicky, so pleased you like it - and I am now doing what you suggested and just sitting back and enjoying itimage
