Help for flooded gardens

    philippa, that is very interesting. Last Autumn when there was a danger of East Anglia flooding because of high tides (as happened in 1953) I spent hours trying to contact the EA, both by phone and on their website with no luck. I complained sharply by email and the response was 'that they hadn't realised so many people would try to get onto the site'!!! If local responsibility is taken out of their hands that can only be a good thing; they seem to me to be out of touch with the reality of flooding.image

    It's the sea that's the threat here isn't it artjak. Drainage of the rivers seems more sorted. I think our place is OK til the sea level rises some more so if you ever do have to evacuate we have a spare roomimage

    Have been harvesting fruit and veg all day; may have to make gooseberry wine (there is only so much gooseberry fool that one can eat)
