So pretty - esp love the rose arch & grass - well done you.

Is that a scarecrow in your veggie beds? Does he work? I am doing battle royal with pigeons so that cd be an idea for me!

I am so impressed Lizzie. I too love the scarecrow; very stylishly dressedimage. The whole garden looks delightful.

Thanks Topbird & Artjak.  I have to admit we bought the scarecrow solely to "dress" the garden for the Open days and to amuse any children - it was £10 from a motorway service station of all places, last year.

Not sure if it works or not, we only put it up Sat morning - think the colours might run if it rained.

Very, I have to admit I have in the past cut grass in between paving slabs with nail scissors and this year I made floral curtains for the shed!!!!  (to stop people looking at the mess within....)

Would you all like to see some photos of our plants being delivered to the flood victims?  See below!!!

So many messages of thanks on the facebook pages now.  People talking about bringing smiles back on faces, real morale boosts, such happiness at seeing things green and growing among the misery.  This week Moorland celebrated the first three families moving back into their homes!  So big smiles everyone, and thank you all again so much....
