Relentless rain here too, where is this hot summer all the gardening magazines are predicting?

Still raining here at 3pm but very glad of the rest - power washed the paving all round on Sunday and cleared out behind the shed yesterday - bags of bags & bubblewrap! but super OH has just taken it all to the tip for me. Actually just remembered I should have kept the bubblewrap for the winter - that was why it was behind the shed - dohimage

Tremendous storms earlier; just went out and it is so humid and warm that it reminds me of the West Indies in the rainy seasonimage

How are the flooded gardens getting on? Are they plantable? Is the soil still OK? Well done for everything you've done for them.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
