A new log path project

  • How time has flown by since I last updated this! Well, the back of the garden is going through another major change. The log path has held up really well, only this winter has the odd one really started to rot, luckily though I just had a huge conifer chopped down and so asked the guy to cut me some new logs to swap over.

The back of the garden where the shed was on the left is now in the middle of being changed in to a veg garden :-)
  • Thid project started last May, however with a now 13 month old, it hasn’t moved as fast as I’d have liked.

  • Ive actually got 3 x raised beds built now but no further pics other than the below. More updates to follow - especially on the woodland log path.

Have the logs become slippery Chris?

If they are wet, yes, very! However the second they dry out they are absolutely fine. In the wet, I simply walk on the bark rather than the logs.

It’s still looking nice though,  take your time, spend time with your baby she/he will be grown up in no time and you’ll want these first years back again. 🙂
