    Canna Island series "Madeira"

I bought it last year as a flowering shoott in a 6 inch pot. I repotted into a 12 inch pot which it filled last summer. I split it into four this year. Three clumps are flowering well now.

It seems to be very free flowering compared to some of the older type. I have a dark leafed one(in top photo) which has yet to give a flower this year.

Looks like a canna. Here's mine in a pot, but it's a red one.

Up here in the midlands we don't usually get as much heat as Verdun in Cornwall, and BL in France.  This is the only one that has been really floriferous for me.
