Oh what gorgeous Foxgloves fidgetbones The anthriscus ravenswing,is that an ornamental cow parsley? Forgive my ignorance but I did think of digging up some wild cow parsley for my garden. It looks lovely there!!
Anthriscus ravenswing is cow parsley with darker stems than normal. I grew it from a packet of seed, but only managed to get one plant. Its setting seed, so I hope for more.
Beautiful photo Wintersong, all those lovely greens work beautifully together. I've snapped a few in the last couple of days. Only takes me 3 minutes to walk round my garden as it's so small but I'm really pleased so far.
Can you guess my colour scheme ?
don't quite understand why the photos upload like they o. How can you then turn them? Anyone know ?
Just a few photos this week. Loving everyone's garden pictures as usual. Trying to catch up with everything. Above is the promise of things to come, loads of buds, this is a double headed clematis, beautiful when in full bloom.
Iris and solanum
aquilegia, lupins and geum
my one and only rhododendron.
rather wind burnt clematis, it got hit by the strong winds the other day, but seems to have making a recovery!
an old copper coal scuttle filled with wild flower seeds. One of the children planted this a few weeks ago and it seems to be flowering nicely.

The oriental poppies are opening.
Anthriscus ravenswing is getting a bit floppy under the pears.
I always check this thread first after a hard day at work.
Not sure if I posted this snap yet or not, was a couple of days ago.
Three days off now.

Went to Westonbirt Arboretum (Glos) yesterday. Twas a lovely sunny day & took my camera (Panasonic TZ40)
Still a lot of Bluebells around, though they are mostly towards being over now.
These are English Bluebells, darker in colour than the Spanish ones and spikes always hang in one direction.
A close up
There are masses of Rhododendrons around 'Circular Drive' at Westonbirt currently in flower.
This one (below) was taken by OH (Eileen) on her Panasonic TZ18
Gorgeous everyone.
Fab pics everyone
