Oh Bizzie we just posted same time! Love these new pics from you, gorgeous image

Hi, Beaus Mum image ,   thank you. The flower is pretty isnt it. Its  a hardy geranium G. wallichidnum Buxton's variety, low growing and spreads. A very good website  too see geraniums is 'Cransbill Nursery'.

There have been the flourescent blue damsel flies flitting about too, they laid their eggs on the waterlily pads. They move too quickly for a photo on this tablet!

Thank you Bizzie for that info and will def look them up.  You have really inspired me to move my plants around as I have just got so many and just put them in and it does look pretty but could be much better.  I know it will be hard but will be good as I will have you and the others to encourage and advise me along the way image Thank you x

This thread and the others does make one look more closely at ones own gardens. Everyone has something special no matter how small. All inspirational. Enjoy the day image

Before and after photo of one section of our garden.  It took me a year to sort out our garden and of course there are still sections here and there that still need attention, including our lawns.

Lovely dragonflies BizzieB. image I like the fact that you've got a formally edged pond but you've still made it wildlife friendly by creating a 'beached' area with stones for them to get in and out safely. It shows that you can have the best of both!

Mrs Garden was mentioning sitting in a different part of her garden and how it totally changes the view and perspective. I think taking pix can help with that. You see the garden in a certain way because you're always framing a view.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

  • Hi Lyn,image

    Scabious and the foxglove?

I sure can. I was thinking about how to best propagate the scabsimage

Are the scabious true to colour do you know?
