Hello Mother Goose , nice picture of 🐈
Was going to to do a reply but can’t be bothered

However , full moon and lunacy I think you should visit Rampton Secure Hospital At Retford when there’s a full Moon 🌕
    Best wishes  B)

I'd have thought biology and botany and maybe chemistry were a better bet in a garden unless you're building a pergola.

Never heard of the moon's effect on tides and their being higher at full moon and timings following the lunar day rather than the solar day?

Try visiting a maternity ward at full moon.   Full of women with waters breaking ahead or behind schedule.   Highly trained "scientific" medical doctors and pharmacists have long been in the habit of dismissing folk medicine - learned by observation over millennia - as old wive's tales but what are they doing now?  Investigating nettles for arthritis remedies, investigating mosses used to heal wounds and going back to leeches and maggots for persistent wounds that don't respond to modern science.

Anyway, this isn't a thread about the merits or otherwise of gardening with the moon.  It's a thread about how to garden with the moon's phases.

I had a room reserved for my planned Caesarian for an over-sized breech baby - not available till the following day - inundated with women whose waters had broken, bang in the full moon.   Our beef cattle farmer neighbour sows his sweetcorn and cereals on favourable moon days.....

    Coincidence vs science.

A lot of science is pure observation Papi Jo.  As I've said, this isn't a thread about why or how it works.  It's a thread for those interested in following the lunar calendar which has been a working system for agriculture for millennia, long before chemicals and mechanisation.  You don't have to follow it yourself and we're not here to preach.

Please take your snarkiness to another subject where you can talk with authority..
