Marion, would you put some before and after pictures of your sedums when you do the chop, I've read about doing sedums on the forum, but don't really know how far to take them, Thankyou
I like butterflies, i will do as you said Marion and get some sedum spectable plants, i can see i'm going to learn a lot from you Marion, thanks so much for your advice, hope you enjoyed the weather today : )
I will. Lisa. Flumpy 1, it was lovely today. I had a friend for supper so spent some time cooking and then went off to do my slideshow and talk which was very well received. I had them in hoots of laughter telling them about dashing in my nightie to the unheated conservatory to see if my trial tomato plants from Mr. Fothergill were all right! One lady identified a plant for me I had a picture of but no name Tomorrow I can sow my sweet peas and cucamelon seeds for Mr. Fothergill and plant spent daffs out of their pots into the spinney to do their thing there and reuse the pots with fresh compost for summer bulbs. Then to build my Easter display in the front garden. More good days forecast.
£1 tomatoes in three varieties all pricked out and separately labeled usung old labels I had to clean up with an eraser. As i have eight kinds of tomatoes to nurture labeling is important. some are destined for outside, some indoors, some from seed. some from ready plants. if they weather stays fine after I have finished lunch i will work on till it is dark. No April showers this year yet.
Well while we where at the garden centre it start spitting and very cold wind, i bought a Munsted Red Sedum and got advise off the garden assistant too, ho we also got some home make orange chocalate cake Naughty i know, but its weekend : ), don't work too hard Marion today : )
I have just looked at the seven day forecast for Bristol and no rain forecast for a whole week! It will be all systems go on the Easter display next week and potato planting! The bluebell season has begun so out with the camera today to capture them. It is difficult to keep to the golden theme when there is so much blue about but the golden spirea is trying with its golden leaves.
