Thanks Fairy, I am still enjoying being able to post pictures from my iPad its a bit of a novelty I don't use my laptop very often and to get it out to post an odd picture was a bit of a faff, I don't know if anyone else had the problem but I had no menu at the top of the reply box at all and I'm not entirely sure when it appeare.
im sure Cumbria will recover but as usual the powers that be in the south don't seem to be doing much our local MP thinks the army should be called in to help
Little Anne I too am delighted you are ok. I saw your stream in the garden and wondered what it looked like now
I have seen loads of articles about cumbria being back open for business and like Fairy it's an area I know well so am delighted that businesses are re opening and hopefully Christmas will be celebrated as usual.
Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.” A A Milne
Thanks lilly the stream wasn't in my garden, it was a picture taken at blea tarn about two weeks ago for those who don't know the area that's in Langdale
Think the tech team are working on glitches etc so that posting pix will be easier - so many people use a phone rather than a camera and it must be annoying when they can't get their photos on here.
I've taken quite a few 'tumbling burn' pix this year - nothing quite like them. The clarity of the water is hard to explain - quite stunning
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thanks little-ann. It's in Glen Fyne, on the way up to Beinn Bhuidhe. Had a good day for it and that pool would have been a nice bit to dip my feet in on the way back if I'd come down that way. The water was about a metre deep in there.

That's a great picture Fairy
Trouble is with the Army helping is that they have other jobs to do and there aren't enough of them to do them all. Cuts, you see
