  • im not sure myself David as i didnt put the camera on, i will have a go properly this week if we go out

  • On this subject of formatting memory cards.

    Given that  it seems better to use the card until it is fully loaded then format, or at least use for a couple of three months, rather than deleting unwanted pics regularly,,,,perhaps the memory capacity should be borne in mind when buying a new one.

    My camera is equipped with a 8GB (came with the camera) and really it wouldn't matter if was half that size. I have another camera with a 16GB card, which is far too large.

    So, I would say a memory card of 4 to 8GB is plenty for most of us.

    My cards are only 2GB, fine for my little Canon Ixus 55 which is no longer young. But it serves me well for easy holiday snaps and a record of my garden.

    Looking forward to these again, not too long now.

    Can you not upload your pics into Photobucket first, then copy them (click direct option) and post them here via pasting them to 'an external site' option? ...I do this sometimes. 

    I use IE version 11.

  • its this tablet thats causing the problem David it was fine until i removed google chrome because after the last time it upgraded the text was very small on all web sites.

    no problem with my laptop but i dont usually turn it on every day the tablet is more convenient easy to carry round the house, i have tried to load a picture that i have put on before and it wont let me its just this site i can put pictures on face book
