    Meadowland I think that is a great picture, even when enlarged and zoomed in on everything is crisp and clear, I like your garden image

    David the poppies look good framed. Another lovely monotone, you should have popped in for a cuppa instead of standing outside our house with your cameraimage

    I did in fact visit the house, but everything was closed. Having said that, I did have a cuppa courtesy of a flask of hot coffee (+ a dash rum) that I took with me. 

    Btw, I'm finding digital b & w far more tricky than in the days of film.

    Meadowland from your profile I know you love roses I think they make lovely subjects for close up photos. I regularly take photos of my plants but not all turn out well enough to post.

  • Yes agree KEF........some are failures.Roses are good subjects as you say.image Have placed a few mirrors around the garden,love to use these to capture reflections of certain shrubs.

     Had lunch here today. The Goats Head in the centre of the village of Abbots Bromley.

    Pansyface may  wish to see it.....St Nicholas church (where the horns are kept) on the upper left of the pic.
