That's really nice, Lily.....I can well imagine it looks different today, if your weather is anything like ours...it's been pants.
Probably my next photo opportunity will be Sun 15th Nov, when I'll be visiting Chatsworth House to see their Christmas display.......theme is The Wind in the Willows this year.
I got a pic of the spirea I pass on the way to work. Should have taken it a week ago when the colour was even better, but it still looks pretty
Took one of the church across the road too. Had to keep waiting for the cars to go by. The drivers must have thought I was bonkers- standing in the drizzle taking photos of a bush and the church
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I lived not far from there growing up. I work in Mearnskirk - about a mile from the church - and I stay about five minutes in the opposite direction. Pass the church every day

DAVID. We are going to Chatsworth on the 24th for the Christmas display too.
Hope you have a great day, Rb.
My family & me are going in my car. The tickets for house & garden are (pre-booked) £20 each + petrol, parking etc. Interesting to note that 'Swiftsure' are running a coach on 2nd Dec which includes a visit to Bakewell + house & gardens admission, for £24.80... not sure how that works.

David love your shot of the moon with the clouds in it, you, can see them so clearly. Great photo of the houses, it looks great in black and white.
Lovely picture Hostafan.
Fairygirl, I have to agree with you, it's electric pole and phone wires that always get in the way. Great photo's, love that church
Lovely photo Lily Pilly.
