Steve McCurry is a National Geographic photographer and some of you may have seen this portrait of the Afghan girl. This is inspiring to anyone who would aspire to take stunning portraits.
I actually managed to upload a photo will have to try my Avatar again. The photo was cropped a fair bit.It could be my computer is slow or old ( widows 2000).
Fritillary - like KEF, I'm pleased you have managed to post your pics....also, like KEF, I love those poppies. I was tempted to tinker-around and remove some of background.

David it certainly is inspiring. She is a very striking subject the clarity of her eyes is amazing especially when the photo is enlarged.
Saw this on internet and thought it was so cute.

I've seen the Afgan girl before, but she is a stunning subject for the photographer.
Lily, how do you post a moving picture? He's cute.
Strawberry is lovely, I had Jersey cows, but photos were before I had a digital camera.
Crisp, clear, cold winter's day here today and I think this flooded river pic shows it.
