Where did you get those pix of me fidget - and my house!
The fairy sculptures are amazing. I know you've posted some before, but you can never have too much of a good thing
Love that second one from Trebah and, like Lorna, I think that fern is stunning
Thanks Lorna - clouds feature heavily in hillwalking pix
That one is Ben Lomond - I have a lot of pix of it at different times of year andfrom different angles. The one in the previous set is the summit of Stob Ghabar in Glen Etive taken from my walk on Sunday in Bridge of Orchy. The Etive hills were in cloud all day, whereas the Tyndrum hills (in the pic with the lochan) and the Orchy ones were clear.
That photo of the building you posted is beautiful. Whereabouts is that?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Fairygirl, It was a monastery many years ago, It's in County Louth in Ireland. we've gone from living in England, then to Spain and now in Ireland, just a shame I didn't have a good enough camera before, Mine's not a brilliant camera but it's better than what I had.
Took a look at your camera Hosta. It's almost identical to mine but maybe a little bit bigger. All the features look exactly the same. I was looking for something around £100 and it was reduced to £85 from about £130/140 I think. For the same money as the smaller, pocket sized ones, it seemed more than worth it, even if it's a bit more cumbersome on walks. The case is useful though - I have it fixed on my rucksack waistband and carry little route maps, snacks, GPS and glasses in it!
I think you'll love yours

No I didn't, but have now......nothing detrimental about the camera though.
indeed so, but aren't some folk just rude?
Why shouldn't a 14 year old have a nice camera. It's a lot cheaper than an iPhone that's for sure.

I hope so Fairygirl.
The last camera I bought was my Olympus OM10 in 1980 ( after I sued someone. (another story) ). Things have moved on a bit since then.
