Hi everyone, lovely photos as always (mine stay on gallery as just point and shoot!) but do love looking on here.
Wonder if you can help me?
I want to change my avatar but the computer says no. The photo I've chosen is over 4mb, so I believe that is the reason. I'm sure I've heard you camera folk talk about reducing the size. I've had a play about but can't manage to do it. Can anyone give me some technical info please?
MG - Personally I change the file size of my pics in Photoshop when necessary. Having said that, I've just changed my avatar about half a dozen times with pics from my Windows library and they all worked okay.
I went into my GW account, then clicked 'edit' just under the existing avatar, then followed the on screen instructions.
Hmmm, thanks, I got as far as compress file then got stuck. Like your new one David. OH home on sun so may have one more go and then get him on the case.
Not strictly gardening, but I've just been for a walk in the country park round the back of my mum's house on the NW edge of London. I wondered if you'd like to share some of the thngs I saw....
