Evening all please imagine me skipping with joy right now I have ecinecea growth on the raspberry ripple hhhhuuuuuuzzzaaaaaahhhhhh......... Tidied the herb bed up a bit .... Does anyone know with monarda I have a mass of leaves around the base do I pull some up? Do I leave then? What do I do with the clump of them......

image(envy not sick). echincea still no show, monarda also no show!. Only hope is that as you are further south mine will be here in 3 weeks or so! Both have been closeted and pampered under a dome cloche to protect from spring frosts as advised, how did you overwinter yours Stacey?

    Plenty of time MrsG.

They'll get a bit leggy and they're at risk from damping off if they're left undercover too much jools, so it's a good idea to uncover them once you have some growth. Are they on a windowsill?Turn them each day if they are, because they'll always grow towards the light.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I'd uncover them then jools and just keep an eye on them in terms of watering etc. You can pot them on once they're a few inches high image
