Lawn is growing apace but it can wait until OH gets back from Scotland. if he thought I knew how to start the mower, I'd never get him away from the computer.image

I've potted on some of the salvia plugs I got from hayloft 3 weeks ago. They have already filled the 3 inch pots, so I've potted  some like Amistad  into 2Lsize.  Not sure where I'm going to put them .. 20 from Hayloft, 6 new S.patens, 6 old S. patens, some new pink rhapsody.. It might be a Salvia sort of garden late on.

The sweet corn are ready to go out. I've just got to dig over the clay soil they're going into. I may be some time....

Last call for Hellebore seeds.  Star Gaze Lily, yours are going out tomorrow. Does anyone else want Helleborus niger seed or H. double pink spotted ex Ashwood?

I don't mind ironing, I do it in front of the TV, sitting down.

I sometimes get a page full of code, instead of a photo, too, Wintersong. Some photos appear sideways, some people say when they enlarge them they turn around the right way - not on my laptop they don't.

Been shopping, having cup of tea, bought a bunch of bare root leek plants in the GC. Must go and plant them and sort the outside tomatoes - sideshoots and tying up.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

O.l please do my ironing, it's against my religion, I'm the world's worst ironer and make clothes more creased than when I start, or burn holes in them, must put my lilac in a bigger pot til I a: decide where it's going and maybe remove rhodo, and b: til I find out what cultivar it is when it flowers next year, Aldi customer services couldn't tell me...must also plant courgette I hot last week and do some more thinning and weeding in the front, hard to do any jobs at the mo as little boy decided he can't bear to be more than a foot away from me and screams the house down if anyone else holds him, ended up cooking tea with him in sling on my back and he weighs a ton now!!hope everyone had a hood day in the dundun

Orchid lady, can you PM your address. I will divvy them up between the two of you unless anyone else shouts up soon. They will need planting asap, and putting in  the shade or a cold frame to germinate next spring.

That reminds me, I spotted a ripening raspberry earlier.I wonder if I can get it before the blackbird.
