Morning Chicky I've got a few more cosmos so I'll be able to replace it. I removed daff leaves last weekend. Sounds like a nice weekend doing your annuals. Hope work day flies by
Fairy - this site has really made me aware of the differing seasons across the country - what with Verdun at one extreme and you at the other ...... all my daffs were finished by the end of April this year
I'm getting impatient - my runner beans (sown direct) are taking ages to germinate - there's only one showing so far and that's one of the 'spares' at the end of the row - I know they'll romp away once they get going, but I want to see them now!!! I've checked my notebook and I didn't write the date when I sowed them - think it was around the time Ma got rushed to hospital and we did the Bressingham trip, so not that long ago really ........ must be more patient
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Some of mine were slightly later varieties chick, but it does show how different conditions and locations can alter what we do in our gardens. I'm about 700' above sea level which also makes a difference. I've only just removed crocus foliage and some of it is still green
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
