They are amazing Billimage  Is that where you found the disgusting slugimage  It must be hard work to keep them away. Let us know your secret. I'm just a squeamish learner gardener hoping to toughen up soonimage

Dove I'm glad you had a good result at the docs.  Just shows what stress can do to the body. Gardening is obviously the answer (not with slugs, weevils and aphids though)image

That's amazing - Pandas are known for problems having babies - hope your camera is a light one.image  I am trying sweet pea bijou this year.  Will be interesting to see how they do in the border.

Mrs g we may go early, if they'll let us back in may go back after lunch as live so close, will be with a shouting 3 year old who will shout " YOU CAN'T TALK TO MY MUMMY SHE CAN ONLY TALK TO ME!!" And a 6 month old who just sings all the time, also very much hoping my mum too so I can actually look at things and speak to people!

Whilst booking myself a hearing test I completely failed to notice someone talking to me. Erm...  image

Hello everyone image My smilies have gone so can only do image and image will stick with image for now.

Well done on your babies Panda, I hope Sweetie at Edinburgh Zoo is paying attention that it can be done image

Thanks all for the biennial info by the way, when (if) I have some room in my GH I will get some sown.....do they need to be in the GH when sown?

MrsGarden......ermmmm, yes I did swap my old knackered GH, which was unusable really to a slightly smaller one, only 2' smaller in length which I told OH would not be a problem as I didn't want to stretch the budget. Obviously I didn't realise what a difference 2' makes......funny winky face and sad face LOL!! Although, I use that space now as my 'nursery' bit for my young plants to go outside.

Back home now, had a look in Dobies but rain was that bad I lost interest. Wanted another delphinium but don't find any or didn't look well enough. Did come home with ribeye steak, and two apple and cinammon scones, not sure where I'm going to plant them.

    Great hostas Billimage

Panda gentle hug for you, hope weather is warm enough to not have to bend and put socks on. Well done on germination and ID of yet another plant if I've remembered correctly.

    Glad BP improved Dove.

Won't say a word to OL about size making a difference in GH's image

A hug for Clari as she sounds to be going (as my Mum said) stir fry at work. Lily I'll tell your sour faced boss you are looking at the forum.

In fact hugs for all in this blinking weather.

I'll have a go at Verdun's new thread when my brain warms up, I've had winter boots, jeans, jumper and waterproof coat on.  Damn gulf stream. image

  • Dovefromabove sorry I cant tell you its name as I've had that for a long time and I don't bother with names anymore.

Forgot to say lovely Hostas Bill, I never used to be a Hosta fan but they are growing on me a lot, my 3 small ones don't look as good as yours though image
