We haven't had heavy rain and the paving stones are drying again now, it's just been on and off light rain all day. Forecast isn't good for weekend though, just typical when we had planned a local 10 mile walk and lots of gardening.
Still, it's Friday tomorrow and 'date night' whoop whoop And my little man is so excited you would think Christmas had come, his friend is over for 6 weeks from India so she is sleeping over tomorrow night then they are going into Blackpool 'shopping' (which in teenage speak means hanging about in the shopping centre and going to a well known coffee outlet!)...... There will be tears in 6 weeks times though until next year
They have been friends since they were 4 and started school but she had to move back to India 3 years ago when her parents separated, there was lots of tears. My little man is already planning his trip to India as soon as he is old enough, he thinks he will be able to see her at least 3 times a year then!!
