Dove, I think you should do gardening and baking image

Might have a go at digging out the weeds and bluebell bulbs if the ground has eased up a bit.

I'm hoping ours will be when we get home Dove. I put "Water Soldiers" in which are meant to float on the surface to act as coverage but they all sank and haven't been seen since image My lilly is tiny and growing slowly and the  oxygenating weed doesn't provide much cover yet. It is such as a large area evaporation is going to be a big problem.

Doesn't seem to be raining much / at all now. Can't the weather get it over and done with before the weekend?!

Hi there, not really caught up from yesterdays busy day and evening. Went to local theatre to see 'Oliver' - son was sooo  excited and grandma had a sleepover - even more exciting!

Been hoeing this morning once the rain stopped, it's nice and fresh out there. Had intended planting but decided to get rid of mini weeds first - good plan eh?

Also found an old (well last year's misplaced) box of seeds. Couldn't understand where mum's poppy was she had promised me, turns out it was seeds not a plant! Also found a few labels, one of which I need to put on an ID thread.

Watching bits of Chelsea, then pottering and back to Chelsea (can't even sit still to watch it properly).

Lot of rain here overnight. Dry now, so I went to the  garden centre. I bought a pink lychnis (double ragged robin?) called jenny. It looks like a cat sat in the middle of it, all the flowering stems splay out, it might need some support.image

Bought ? fidget, thought that was against your principles, all that growing, cuttingsing and seeding you do!imageimage

Just had two lovely ladies clean my 2 ovens (yes 2,, even though I don't do proper cookingimage). Made a good job. Expected chemicals, fumes and heat but no, just elbow grease !

Going to see if I can get some Fidget plants in the ground now before another downpour, hmmm, I'll be lucky.image
