I feel like I am behind not sown runner beans/ french beans or cucumbers yet and so many more things

I've just re done my runner beans - last lot grew two inches and have now flowered and produced tiny pods - not ideal! Next lot seem to be coming through really quickly.

My sweetpeas look a bit sorry for themselves, don't think all the rain last week did them any good, took quite a battering image

Why, what did you spill on it,kef.?

Chicky, can I borrow your OH. ?I have a stone wall to be built about the same size.

It's sunny here today, hardening off to be done, and weeding, and planting. Busy, busy, busy.

MrsG, you sent me a pm a few weeks ago, can see it at the mo but haven't got a box, so sorry can't reply.   For some reason when everybody's pms play up I can see mine but when you get them back, mine can't be seen again, bit wierd.   image    Sometime ago I was able to pm on my old laptop, but that has now died. I remember being in touch with you then MrsG and sent you my email. You can use that anytime  image

Hope your panni whatsit is ok image

Morning all - lovely here too. What a gorgeous BH weekend we have been treated toimage.  Today i MUST follow my list - so thats roses and clematis to feed, a particularly weedy section to clear, and pot on some of my GH babies.

Fidget - your OH is pretty handy too - Mr Chicky says that if you get the right cut of stone (ours is Purbeck) then its easier than it looks - and as ighten says, as therapeutic as a jigsawimage

    Morning all.
Have had a shuffle in the cold frames this morning and all that has hardened off and the young perennials are now on the kitchen terrace. GH is nearly empty enough to start planting the tomatoes, won't do it today as it's sunny and it gets hot in there. Must do middle bed. Then I'll have room to get some of the plants into it.

Not a bank hol here, was last Thursday for 1st May and will be this Thursday for VE day on the 8th.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
