OL, you've hit the nail on the head!  I've been retired for 15 months and every morning I wake up with that great "let out of jail" feeling!  Glad to hear Lily is already feeling the benefit of her new-found freedom.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Well, OH can't decide whether to get an older used car or a new one on lease.......I've told him that I will have to do a cost analysis and let him know my decision!!!  image

Just been walking about with crying baby granddaughter, 3 weeks old. Son and DIL have been trying to settle other gd aged 2 1/2. Daughters x 2 and GC x 5 arrive tomorrow. May not have time to be on here!

Today went to help other son tidy his garden for his baby's baptism party. I removed loads of brambles from his shrubs. Ouch, stinging nettles too. OH mowed his grass, big garden. Tired.image

Been resting today watch gardening shows on TV as woke up with leg cramp then felt sick still not feeling right  - still to watch Beechgrove gardens yet - did water my gh plantlets and have a small walk around garden

you lot have been talking on here today took ages to catch up

Yesterday managed to re-do two small hanging baskets with new plants look much better and re-do a container with plants I sowed myself, then planted up a new planter for the drainpipe - was out in my gh while it was pissing it down with rain, 1st time in there while it was raining as after I put it up it was heat wave all the time

Evening all, Ive been busy all day in the garden today so taking time out to watch a bit of tv and relax.  Ive had a couple of glasses of vino but better stop now if Im going to save myself for tomorrow.  Second born arrived in Indonesia safely despite flying Malaysian Air.  First born comes back from Menorca on Sunday, cant wait to cuddle the grandchildren Ive really missed them.  As they are teachers Ive still got a few weeks off before nanny duties kick in.   Signing off now I'm off to bed, see you tomorrow.
