Thanks Gg.. Would you like a gingerbread snowflake? I think Verd and SGL have left some! image image

Busy, you have been living up to your name!

Fidget, hope your back gets better. Chicky, no drugs, just a TENS machine, what a star image

Mrs G, sorry to hear about your ring image

  • Very tired, and work tomorrow (groan)

    So nite nite all image

  • Good morning all image  Dark and damp outside and it looks like an autumnal day ahead.  The forecast for East Anglia says:

"Starting windy, with early rain soon clearing eastwards to leave a dry and sunny remainder of the day aside from isolated showers near the coast later. Feeling rather cool despite easing winds, with temperatures a little lower than of late. Maximum Temperature 10 °C."

Suppose that's reasonable for November image

The forecast for the whole country to the end of the month says

"Taking the country as a whole, temperatures during this period are more likely than not to be near, or perhaps slightly above average throughout, leading to a lower risk of overnight frost than can usually be expected at this time of year." image

Go back to bed! The cars frozen over and the decking is like an ice rink.

I'm on a first aid course today. Wonder what I've forgotten since last time!

  • Flippin 'eck Clarington - better strap your skates on!  Sounds like you might need the first aid course - you'll be slipping and sliding across the car park!

Years of being a truly graceful huffalump mean I bounce quite easily! The gritter lorries have already been out in force so hopefully we'll all be safe and stick to the roads especially during the fire strike.

Thanks for the reminder clarington, to leave time for sorting the car! Frost here too, first time I've seen it this year, but have had some lie ins and don't always open curtains early...

Ooo good morning and have a good day all.

  • I'm one of those people who, if they fall usually breaks or damages something - just not bouncy despite appearances image  I've also got a dodgy knee from an old injury - it's usually fine but if I slip it's prone to bending the wrong way image so when it's icy I get my Yaktrax out
