Morning all, seem to have started waking up at going to work time again. Has my coffee outside, and made a list of jobs to do today. I think it is going to be warm and sunny, so should be a good one.
It is strange bank holidays still feel special, even though I am no longer working.

I queried this Bank Holiday thing with HR when I retired, I explained that I was retiring from work, not from Bank Holidays, and that I still needed them .............
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Just been o/s to check on little ( well not so little now) "Fidget" aka as Brugmansia. She has been very brave and spent a night outside sitting in an oversized pot on the garden bench with fleece over her. She is looking happy
Know what you mean about bank hols seeming different.
Gardengirl, I re-did by runners yesterday, other beans germinated fine. Think I used really old beans and not ones I saved from last year, a few days will tell. Cumbers just starting to get true leaves. You've time to get yours going.
