Thanks 4th panda and Dove.ITshould be better this year as the plants will be more established and of course I'll have more time,Can't wait.Counting down again.I' got tree lilies right at the back as well but you can't see them.
I do need to toughen up KEF.Lots of people have told me that over the years.Think it's too late in life now.
Just want to thank you all for being so friendly. You've really cheered me up after another rotten day at work. Not getting on very well with the boss at the moment. It's lovely to 'talk' to such lovely people.I'll have to get sorted for bed.Up at 5.30.tomorrow and not had tea yet.See you tomorrow if everything works again.
I like the tree lilies pinkquartet. I have just given mine a top dressing of FYM. Last year they were 6ft tall with stems like broom handles. So much better than having to truss them up with canes and string.
Well, if you've got this far without toughening up you'll probably survive another 3 weeks, and after that you can carry on being soft and floppy like the rest of us
And they must like you really or they wouldn't want you for another 3 weeks, they'd be glad to see the back of you, no matter what work there was to be done!
Sleep tight, sweet dreams everyone

Pentillie, I hope your friend had a lovely send off and it wasn't too upsetting for you. Also I hope it stayed sunny for him, all gardeners prefer the sun.
Bill, I'm so sorry to hear about your son. I'm not sure if you had mentioned it before as I missed quite a few posts, so sorry if you have and I didn't say anything. My thoughts are with you and your wife at this very sad and difficult time, I hope your son is peaceful and pain free as much as possible.
Lovely garden pinkie, I love lilies too and can't wait to see mine this year as I have moved them (if I haven't killed them that is!!).
Feeling very happy today as my bulbs are all coming up, although I can't remember what was planted where!! I know my 3 lots of tulips from GW are in 3 different tubs and my note book said I layered these with narcissi and crocus, but there seems to be narcissi coming up in the tubs where the lilies are too, I'm wondering if I had some left over and planted them there but forgot to write it down.......I should rename myself to Tracey-silly-billy!!!
I hoe everyone has had a good day and hello to everyone else, sorry if I've missed anything important, I haven't had time to read everything.
