Dove, you look like you had good weather, lovely pic. Rained all day here and still raining.
My garden is so very wet, its like paddling along the edge of the sea. I'm hoping my plants will survive. Had a very quick look at the plants nearest to the house and some look a bit sorry for themselves. The hydrangas look like they have new shoots coming through. Except my newest one the paniculater (spelling!) grandiflora, which looks pretty dead, or does this start later than the others? Does anybody know please.
Wow, thats some flower Mrs G., no idea what it is though.
Had a good day pottering in the bits of the garden that are now water free. Snowdrops now flowering and first crocuses as well. Managed to dig out a very invasive Sasa japonica that I planted when I had no knowledge of such things. In the last few years it has started to sucker all over the place. No doubt I shall still be removing suckers for years, but at least the main clump has gone.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
