Verd - glad you're safe and well. It's just desperate down in your neck of the woods. Was watching something on TV earlier and someone was saying the same as I did - if it had been central London it would have been all hands to the pump right away, and the awful situation in Somerset wouldn't be the way it is week after week. No wonder people are angry.

BILL, hope you are okay. A lot of our friends on here are suffering from floods, severe weather ( not the cold) and more is to come over the next few days.
i cant remember who was going to Grasmere for a night at the Daffodil Hotel this week and was hoping it would snow, we have not had any snow yet other than on the high fell
