To cut a long story short, there is a BIG sign saying they will help as you drive in. Un-loaded my car with wood, plastic, some heavy stuff, old carpet etc and some of it was behind my car. 4-5 'assistants' just stood around talking and then one came and stood right behind me watching me, no offer of help or anything. I told him that no doubt had I have been slim with a short skirt and big **** he would have helped! was really cross and OH emailed the council!!!!

Where are you off to on holiday Stacey?

I've still got my ear infection, over a week now and can't get in the docs until tomorrow as it's not an emergency, even though my glands are really swollen and nothing is working image

Hello all. Back to grey and cold in Sheffield, but it is dry. Hope to get out and do a bit more tidying / weeding. Everything still too wet to consider planting the huge amount of plants in the greenhouse; mainly cuttings from last year that have now grown into good sizes plants.

How can you lie there and think of England

    Good morning all.

Hello Nudrev. What sort of gardening do you do in the Philippines? You must be able to grow quite exotic plants.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
