Have a good day at work Lily.

Dove, please put me down for a helping of each planned meal, you could deliver by bus. image  Are you taking your camera when you go for a walk?

Dunno what I'm doing today, H going out with friends this afternoon, so I might be a domestic godess, or might spend time looking for a holiday.

Have a good day all. BFN

Hi KEF, I could send it by Carrier Pigeon image

I thought I would take the camera, but now I'm going to go earlier than planned as I've just had a text saying I've got a delivery (not garden related) arriving between 12.30 and 1.30 ish.

If you want something to do, my bookcases need a good sort out image

  • 28 now, boy that's old! Thanks for all your wishes and cakes. My sugar free diet starts tomorrow. Hot, steamy bath out of the way , now spruced for my lunch outing with 3 of the fair sex. Safety in numbersimage.

You all have a good day too... the sun is lovely here, and our flooded roads are reappearing.

Verd. you could always move to Hampshire and set up a new charity looking after ol' boys gardens for free. I can get you started.image

Hugs for Archie. Please don't start walking around holding the furniture, I think that's a symptom of man flu.

When my OH is ill I administer Sudacrem and if it's very bad Hydrocortisone and a can of lager, it usually works. Doesn't matter where you put the cream it's the kind action of providing it that works image

Right, I'm back from a couple of hours on the marshes - it was glorious!  Green woodpeckers calling, Gt Spotted woodpeckers drumming, and I saw one - he was drumming in a tree above my head, couldn't really focus on him very well but here he is.  If you click on the pick and zoom in you'll see him a bit better ....

The birds definitely think it's spring - the robins were flitting about in pairs, as were the bluetits, and I saw a pair of jays prospecting for a nest, and there were new shoots on one of the elder bushes

And if anyone wants some leaf mould ...

Sorry I'll sit on the step Dove.

Love the leaf mould picture. Makes me want to run and jump into it.
