MrsG,  was it you who had acer in a pot and got advice from gc man about the care of them.....or was it Chicky.......image

    Sending hugs MrsG, image

    Thanks for hugs Lily.

My acer (on garden thread) was in a pot for years and years. I planted it out maybe 2yrs ago, it is a weeping variety and had wept over the raised pot sides so I had to remove lower stems and train it into a more upright frame. Still giving a bit of help with this for the next year but after that it will be fine to go it alone. Think it nay be Chicky who you ar ethinking of though.

Very good joke Verdun, can't beat that Cornish sense of humour image I am rubbish at jokes so won't even try!!

i don't really want to move the Geum, I like it where it is so might move the other one (whose name I can't remember!), although now MrsGarden has mentioned it, I have a beach bag that's orange, yellow and pink so maybe just add some yellow in image It can be a beach Alpine garden....I might even go and get some shells image

Right must go, customers to see.  Bye

Hello again folks image not in PJs now;  I'm decent and in gardening clothes and I've cleaned the shower and bathroom etc. There's a load in the machine that's almost ready to hang out, and then there's nothing to stop me gardening when I've finished my coffee .............. image

Oh,  can someone remind me to get some sausages out of the freezer - Toad in the Hole for supper.

    Morning all.

    Great trouser joke Verdun.

Lovely acer, Mrs. G, but I think I'll join you in the sulk corner - only Chicky noticed I'm back after a week away in England. imageBut probably understandable as I don't post much in spring, too busy. Amazing how many weeds have grown in veggie garden in 1 week.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
